In March 2019, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced a new campaign to better prepare California for disaster by ensuring our most vulnerable communities have access to culturally and linguistically competent support. As a core partner in overseeing and directing this campaign, California Volunteers is managing the distribution of $30 million through grants that are now available.
